German Cockroach

The German cockroach is a cockroach that is commonly found in homes and businesses across the United States. They have the most active egg cycle of all the cockroaches, so when you have an infestation, you have a real problem on your hands.
Found in homes, hotels, restaurants and even school cafeterias, the German cockroach is the most common household pest of all the cockroach species.

  The adults grow to be 1/2- 5/8 " long, their body is light-brown in color with two stripes of color located just behind their head.


The egg sacs contain up to 45 eggs that will hatch in 35 days. The roaches can live up to one  year. Their time to search for food is at night where they can be found in either the bathroom (after moisture) or in the kitchen (looking for food or water).

It has been found that they have easily adapted to all sorts of pesticides that have been trying to wipe them out, and the young become resistant to most pesticide products on the market today.
